Trying to change your child’s bedroom theme? How about something really cute like a theme of puppy or kittens? A lot of children will love this type of theme and it may be able to stay in the room a few years, which will save you money on the redecorating bills. Maybe you are unable to have a real pet and your child can at least in this way have a fake pet.

Make sure that you get your child involved in this project if they are old enough. Have them help to pick out a nice wall paper that is full of pictures of cute little puppies or kittens if that’s what they like. Wall paper may be too expensive in that case put up a nice color on a wall, and get some stickers of animals that your child can help to place up on the wall. This won’t cost a lot of money and again your child’s creativity was put to use too!

Bedding can be found with the cute little animal you or your child and you have picked to be the focus of the room. Adding in some cute little stuffed animals to the room will help bring the theme in even more.

Don’t forget the addition of an area rug, which you can get in so many different shapes, sizes and colors. A great thing about an area rug is it will help with the wear and tear on the floor, it’s easy to clean, and very inexpensive too. The area rug will be a great way to make sure the full room is tied together as far as decor too.

With a great theme of a puppy or a kitten you will have a lovely looking room for your child. And if you have had them help with the decorating it will also help out their self esteem. So have a project that both you and your child can do and redecorate their room.
